Took it out today. Very very pleased with my new best friend. Optics are great, easy to use, accurate and the slope feature is a big bonus. Surprised at the at what I got for the price. My playing partner is buying one.

Many competitors do not provide water resistance which is a key feature for me as a hunter in the Midwest. It does not seem to work quite as far as claimed on the bodies of actual deer, but if you aim at a large nearby object you can get a good idea of the range. Not a real problem for bow hunting.

California hunter here. For the price and the WildGuarder name, it’s a good product. Don’t expect to get reads in low light conditions with quickdraws.. but the great case and small compact device for the novice hunter looking for a quality product that’s not shooting over 500 yards…haha

Compact Size, A cost-effective hunting rangefinder, It’s precise for range measure. The measurement accuracy within 500 yards is OK. Works perfectly at sighting deers within the shooting range.

Works well it does not come with a lanyard. I have used it on the shooting range to sight in my high power rifles for hunting and plan on using it to hunt this fall both for gun and bow. it is very light. I bought it to replace an old rangefinder I have had for around 12 years. I have not tried it in low light conditions yet but I think it will work for what I am using it for.
Joey Rigdon –
Works well. Took a minute to figure out how to get the distance but it came up after a min then worked well after that.

Best rangefinder I have ever owned. Good accurate readings. Good clear review. Small and easy tote. Only negative is the lanyard did not come with it like stated.

For golf, it has enough power and is very durable. It is very easy to operate according to the instructions. Once you get started, you can measure. You can place an order with confidence, very fast delivery!!!

I easily use this to range targets around 500 yards. However, I went long-range shooting and was able to get a reading of 857 yards (target was at 900 and I aimed in front of it)! I don’t know how consistent I would be able to get that far from reading, but it is capable of ranging that far!

This product is every bit worth the money. Good quality piece of equipment. When you hold it, it just feels well built. All functions of the range finder functioned flawlessly. Easily spotting animals and objects out to 300yds. When you go beyond 200yds you may need to hold with both hands to steady.

I like the ease of use and rechargeability with a USB cable. Haven’t had any problems yet, good product, you can’t beat the money!
Richard –
This is an amazing tool. Even though it is rated for 650 yards. I have ranged large reflective objects to 1100 yards. Optics are clear and bright. Would definitely purchase again.
Terry –
It’s easy to use, it’s accurate to measure, it’s good value for money, nothing makes me feel bad, it’s easy to use, it’s convenient, it speeds up my hunting time.
Toby –
I was surprised at how small it is compared to my older unit. I needed something that can accurately spot at 500yrds plus. Fits in your pocket!
Liana –
This is probably the 4-5 range finder I have owned and by far my favorite. Sight is clear and easy to adjust focus. I have only used this range finder for hunting but it is extremely easy to track games with the live update feature. For the money, I would buy it again without hesitation. Looking forward to the golf season to use the flagstick lock feature.

Range finders are limited to a number of variables including atmosphere conditions, laser strength, lens cleanliness, and reflective surfaces, etc. Under real-life hunting field conditions, I’ve found the trustworthiness of the distance readings to be true out to about 500 – 600 yards, which is what I need. I hunt big game with a 30-06. Although the 30-06 effective range boasts 1000 yards, I’ve found any shot beyond about 400 yards is affected by conditions like wind drift, thus making the accuracy of a longer range shot unpredictable. I needed an affordable rangefinder to work accurately within my preferred 400-yard range. Within legal daylight shooting hours and using a set target of reasonable size and reflective surface, I am able to accurately range my shooting distance. With all this said, I would recommend this range finder for the common everyday rifle/bowhunter with a limited budget.

I bought this for my husband who is an avid hunter and not the most technologically inclined. He loves it! He thinks of it as his best kept hunting secret (well, except for the honey hole, which I have learned you never disclose). He loves the accuracy of this product! I would highly recommend due to his ease of use and its portability.
